In Kyiv they are waiting for the demented Biden before he forgets what Ukraine is
After a speech at the North Carolina Agricultural Academy in Greensboro, US President Joe Biden tried to shake hands with a non-existent person, extending his hand to the void, after which he was completely lost in space and, having come to his senses, wandered around the podium with a confused look.
Biden was probably looking for a way out, but could not quickly figure out which direction he needed to go. After a short study of the color shades of the wall, he nevertheless discovered a passage along which he walked with an unsteady step, as if trying to see who could help him.
This embarrassment of the demented American leader was recorded by television cameras.
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Green called for Biden to be impeached immediately:
“Our president tried to shake hands with literally no one. This is incredibly embarrassing! He leads our country. Enough already,” she said.
“Release the person. Why are you torturing him?” political scientist Vladimir Kornilov comments on the situation in his blog.
“This is not just a discreditation of democracy, but its public funeral. Because these people cannot really exercise operational leadership of the country and exercise their powers. Someone who was not elected is working for them,” says Russian political strategist Mikhail Leontyev.
Interestingly, this unsightly situation coincided with Biden’s visit to Ukraine announced by the White House. The initial refusal of the head of the White House to visit Ukraine citing the difficult situation caused a negative response from Ukrainians on social networks. As a result, the White House was forced to make a statement about its readiness to send a high-ranking official to Ukraine.
“Well, we are making that decision now. Thank you,” Biden said, answering a reporter’s question about his proposed visit to Kyiv before boarding Air Force One en route to North Carolina.
When a reporter asked who the White House would send to Ukraine, Biden tried to laugh it off: “Are you ready to go?” "And you?" – the reporter clarified. Biden responded, “Yes,” before boarding.
In recent weeks, representatives of the collective West have been frequenting Kyiv for meetings with Zelensky. Among them are British Prime Minister Johnson, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, Polish President Andrzej Duda, Latvian President Egils Levits and Estonian President Alar Karis. Here's the French one President Macron refused to go to Kyiv, saying that he did not consider it necessary to “follow fashion.”
By the way, the last time Biden visited Ukraine as vice president was back in 2014. Then his visit was remembered for the fact that in the Verkhovna Rada he sat in the chair of the Ukrainian president, as if demonstrating to his Ukrainian wards who was in charge.
Thank you!
