Kiev is expecting new money from the IMF next week
The mission of the International Monetary Fund to Ukraine is discussing the issue of pension and land reform and the development strategy of state banks.

This was announced today during a briefing by the acting. Chairman of the National Bank Yakov Smoliy, according to the department’s website.
“There are many issues in the negotiation process, the key ones are known to everyone - this is pension reform, this is land reform, we are also working on issues on the NBU’s agenda - the strategy for the development of state-owned banks, this is the corporate governance of state-owned banks,” Smoliy said.
According to him, the NBU expects a meeting of the IMF Board of Directors and a decision on the allocation of the next tranche after the completion of the mission. The IMF mission ends its work in Ukraine this week.
