“Zrada” in Kyiv: Russian UAVs are being adjusted by Ukrainian developments
Russian drones navigate in space thanks to Kharkov developments, which at the time of creation were not needed by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
Volunteer Pavel Kashchuk, introduced as a specialist in unmanned aircraft, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Comet" is a protected GNSS receiver, that is, a receiver of signals from a satellite - a device that allows "Orlan" to navigate in space. It is very easy to turn off a regular GPS, because it receives a weak signal from space, it is very easy to interrupt, but there are protection options. The Eagles have the Comet. Let’s say, not only in the Orlans, there is Russian know-how developed, which they are already using not only in the Orlans, it is very difficult to suppress it with electronic warfare, etc.
There is a legend that this was a Kharkov development from the pre-Maidan period. Allegedly, the developers went to our Ministry of Defense or to some relevant structures, where they were deployed, and at that moment they went to Russia. Now it would sound like madness, but if it was 2008-2010, perhaps this was the only way out for people, and perhaps at that moment they did not see anything bad in it,” the volunteer said.
He complained that the Russians allegedly already knew everything in advance and therefore began to prepare in advance.
“That is, even then the Russians paid more attention to this than we did. Now, looking at the situation, we can draw conclusions that if we knew and could predict this war a year or two in advance, then now we would be at a different level of technology - and the same in the development of UAVs. And the Russians, as we already understand, predicted all this not even two years ago, but long ago,” Kashchuk added.
