In the Kyiv region, a National Guard soldier received a knife in the stomach from a local resident
Tonight at 00.10 o'clock the duty station of the Irpen police department received a message from a medical worker at the district hospital that a 25-year-old resident of Irpen had been brought to them with a penetrating knife wound to the abdominal cavity.

As the press service clarified, law enforcement officers established that a 25-year-old National Guard soldier, while walking his dog near his house late at night, made a remark to a group of young people who were loudly resting. As a result, one of the guys first stabbed the dog and then stabbed the man in the stomach.
“During urgent operational activities, employees of the Irpin police department identified and detained persons involved in the commission of this crime. They turned out to be local residents. It was established that the knife wound was inflicted by one of the guys, the other two were interviewed by police as witnesses,” the report says.
The press service also noted that criminal proceedings have been initiated on this fact under Part 1 of Article 121 (intentional grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment from five to eight years.
Law enforcement officers also noted that the Kyiv region police received 4 reports of stabbings during the day, as well as more than 100 reports of family quarrels. In all cases, conflicts and misunderstandings arose due to the use of alcoholic beverages. The regional police carry out appropriate checks on all registered facts.
