Kiev, April 02 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – In Vyshneve (Kiev region), on the eve of the vote in the city council on the issue of transferring 40 hectares of land from communal property to private hands, city council deputy Yuriy Lesnichiy, who opposed the privatization of a plot worth 40 million dollars.

On the eve of the session, the deputy was attacked by two unknown people and beaten with iron rods.
“I have a broken leg, I have a bruise on my arms, my whole arm is blue, my kidneys are beaten here, my back and legs are here,” said the Forester.
The deputy believes that they wanted to intimidate him before an important vote in the City Council so that he would not come to the session.
We are talking about 40 hectares of land with a total value of 40 million dollars.
“At this session, a provision should have been adopted according to which the land should have passed from communal property into private hands, this is about 30-40 hectares of land, which is valued at 10 thousand per hundred square meters, that is, this is about 40 million dollars,” – he explained the reason for the beating.
The forester opposed the non-transparent transfer of land and, during the preparation of the draft decision, called for people not to vote for the proposed document.
After the incident, the chairman of the city council postponed consideration of the problematic issue, promising to finalize it.
The police, who began criminal proceedings, believe that one of the versions of the robbery is connected with the deputy activities of the Forester.
The deputy himself has already appealed to the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine with a demand to create an investigative commission regarding Vishnevoy.
