The Kiev City Council asked for a certificate in the “language of the aggressor” for an “ATO” militant
The Kiev City Council approved an appeal to the Ukrainian parliament with a petition to award an ex-ATO militant working at the capital's aircraft repair plant with a diploma of honor from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Olga Pronchatova, head of the personnel department of the personnel department of the state enterprise Plant 410 of Civil Aviation, made a corresponding initiative during the plenary meeting of the Kyiv City Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This year our plant turned 70 years old. We had a number of comrades whom we applied for the award and there were several people left who had not yet received it. And Chumakov is our mechanic for repairing units, he has been working at the plant for 9 years, he is a young man born in 1982, he was in the ATO for mobilization for more than a year. I beg you to support this person.
We repair Antonov aircraft, these are our aircraft, the most reliable. This young man has been working with us for 9 years. There were no young people left in the workshops, they left for Poland, and this one came from the ATO. He was on the landing gear, mastered a very important repair and stayed,” she said.
Let us note that the representative of the plant addressed the audience in Russian.
The initiative was supported by the city council - 82 out of 90 deputies voted “For”.
We would like to remind you that earlier PolitNavigator cited a statement by Vladimir Gavrilov, Ukraine’s defense attache to the United States, that Ukraine has become a world record holder for suicides among military personnel.
