Three Ukrainian servicemen were transported in serious condition from the Joint Forces Operation zone to Kyiv with a viral infection of unknown origin.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Rinat Aigistov, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The number of colds among militants of the armed forces of Ukraine continues to increase.
The largest number of cases is in the 128th and 10th brigades of the VFU, where, as previously reported, 37 militants are being treated, three of them were taken to the National Military Medical Clinical Center in Kiev in serious condition to study the symptoms of an unknown type of virus. Quarantine has been introduced in these departments,” he said.
According to a representative of the defense department, the Ukrainian military command is concerned about the outbreak of acute respiratory diseases and viral infections among employees of the 58th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass, where 25 military personnel have sought medical help over the past three days.
“Currently, the brigade is celebrating the work of the commissions of the medical and logistics services of the OTG North headquarters. During the work of the commissions, they identified an insufficient supply of medical supplies and low qualifications of medical personnel.
It has been revealed that three servicemen from the brigade are missing and are undergoing treatment at a medical facility in the village of Chasov Yar. The issue of introducing quarantine in the brigade is being decided,” Aigistov added.
