This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv subway.
In particular, on the bronze cast cornices in the central hall of the Shulyavskaya station, the inscription “Communism” and the stars between the words “Peace, labor, freedom, equality, brotherhood” were dismantled.
In addition, the bas-relief of the hammer and sickle at the Beresteyskaya station was removed. They were placed on the doors of the cable compartment.
Also closed is the mosaic panel “Red Army Soldier” and two issues “Star of the Red Army” and “Star of the Soviet Army” at the “Palace of Ukraine” station.
“As for this station, we already had a similar experience at Teatralnaya, where the 3D Stage project is located. Now we are open to all proposals regarding the image at the “Palace of Ukraine” station,” said Natalya Makogon, press secretary of the Kyiv subway.
