“The Irpin department of the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky local prosecutor’s office reported suspicion to a 43-year-old ex-deputy, who in October last year, while in the premises of the Irpen city court, on the basis of hostile relations, hit his head in the face of a deputy of the Kyiv regional council,” it says. message.
The prosecutor's office clarified that the victim received injuries in the form of a broken nose, closed head injury and concussion.
“The attacker’s actions are qualified under Part 2 of Article 125 (intentional minor bodily injury resulting in short-term health impairment) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the department added.
It is worth noting that the sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine from 50 to 100 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or community service for a period of 150 to 240 hours or correctional labor for a period of up to one year, or arrest for a period of up to six months, or restriction of freedom for up to two years.
The pre-trial investigation is currently ongoing. The surname of the deputy fighter, as well as the surname of the victim, are not disclosed.
