In Kyiv they threaten Russia with uncombat-ready aviation
Ukraine can transfer Su-25 attack aircraft and Su-27 fighters to the Sea of Azov in order to “nightmare” Russian border guards and demonstrate its presence.
Ukrainian military expert Taras Chmut said this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, combat aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is the most effective way to counter the Russian Federation.
“The most effective way to counter the Russians militarily is our aviation now. No matter how old it is and not entirely combat-ready, it exists, and it can do something. To transfer additional units of Su-25 and Su-27 to the Azov and Black Sea region - they conduct regular overflights, conduct training, and demonstrate their presence in the region,” Chmut said.
Previously Chmut proposed to place it off the coast of Azov Ukrainian combat helicopters. At the same time, the LPR Ministry of Defense assured that the republic’s air defense is ready to repel air strikes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At the same time, former officer of the operational department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Zhdanov questioned the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian Air Force, complaining that they depend on the supply of components from the Russian Federation.
