On Youth Day, work on a record 25-meter towel was completed on the square in front of the Kirovograd City Council.

“Work on embroidering a unique towel began on Embroidery Day. Many citizens of our city joined the common cause and left a few of their stitches on the record towel,” the city council reported.
The press service of the City Council also added that the embroidery was planned to be completed by the Independence Day of Ukraine, but the residents of Kirovograd took the initiative and the 25-meter towel was completely embroidered by the end of the program dedicated to Youth Day.
