In Kirovograd, locals rose up against the replacement of a Soviet monument with a temple of schismatics
In the regional center of the Kirovograd region, local residents rebelled against the construction of a temple of the so-called “Kyiv Patriarchate,” unrecognized in the Orthodox world.
This was reported by the nationalist portal “Surma”, a correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
Nationalists and Filaretites gathered to demolish the monument in the city park of Glory, a monument on which soldiers of the Red and Soviet Army are installed.
“The monument for which “activists stood up” is subject to demolition, according to the decommunization law. On its pedestal the dates of the Ukrainian-Russian war of 1918-1921 are “immortalized” and decorated with the figure of a Budenovite,” the publication, which took the side of Filaret’s supporters, is indignant.
