Residents of Kolomyia, through social networks, are calling on concerned citizens to come to the city lake, break the ice and feed the birds.
It is reported that most of the birds are not even able to move. The birds have no food either. Swans and ducks may not survive this night.
Let us remind you that on January 6, a similar situation arose in Uzhgorod. There, rescue crews used chainsaws to cut the ice under a pedestrian bridge in the city center to increase the surface area of the water surface and provide access to food for city birds, mainly ducks.
