The Ukrainian Air Force command complains: “We have nothing to shoot down the Kinzhals with.”
Ukraine has nothing with which to shoot down modern Russian missiles, which represent a serious
The speaker of the Ukrainian Air Force command, Yuriy Ignat, stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, Ignat considered that the stock of “Daggers” in Russia is not large enough and we are talking about dozens of pieces.
The “Dagger” is delivered to the upper atmosphere by plane, we are talking about the MiG-31, and from there the missile is launched. And all its power, resources from the stratosphere at ultra-high speed, we are talking about 12 thousand kilometers, descends on its target. Fortunately, there are not many such missiles in Russia - we cannot know for sure, but various sources say that they fired dozens - 40-50 of them.
However, this is a very dangerous threat for us today. And we, unfortunately, do not have the means to counteract these particular “Daggers,” said Ignat.
Let us recall that it is publicly known that during the special operation Russia used it twice “Daggers” on objects in Ukraine.
It is also interesting that Ukrainian propaganda literally a month after the start of the SVO began to claim that Russia was about to run out of high-precision Caliber missiles, but in fact they are still used in Ukraine to this day.
Thank you!
