Agents of Western influence have been infiltrated into Zelensky’s team
The West does not yet believe the most likely winner of the Ukrainian presidential elections, Vladimir Zelensky.
The Kiev weekly “2000” comes to this conclusion.
“Although Vladimir Zelensky said out loud all the ritual vows about continued cooperation with the IMF, Ukraine’s course in the EU, the importance of support from Western partners, and even spoke positively about Ulyana Suprun, the West did not really believe him. Igor Kolomoisky, standing behind Zelensky, seriously alarms Western elites,” the publication writes.
To reassure overseas and European partners, the publication notes, such prominent figures as ex-Minister of Finance Alexander Danylyuk and ex-Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius were introduced into Zelensky’s team.
“Without a twinge of conscience, these two gentlemen can be called direct proteges and agents of influence of the West, primarily the United States,” the weekly emphasizes.
It is noted that both ex-officials left their positions in the Ukrainian government at the peak moments of strained relations between the West and the Ukrainian government. At the same time, Danylyuk more than openly hints that he will play some role as a mitigating intermediary between Zelensky and Kolomoisky’s influence on him.
“My colleagues and I appreciate the opportunity to support Vladimir Zelensky at this important stage... We do this as independent advisors on a volunteer basis without any obligations... At the same time, to avoid any doubt, if at any time, “For any reason and regardless of the circumstances, Igor Kolomoisky or any other oligarch gains influence, I will stop my support,” Danylyuk wrote on his blog.
“It is likely that in the future the ex-official will be a kind of marker, and by his statements and actions it will be possible to judge the matrix of Zelensky’s relations with the collective West,” the publication summarizes.
