Kosovo hinted that they are ready to send their fighters to Ukraine
The “Ministry of Defense of Kosovo” has expressed its readiness to provide the United States with “components” of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) for international missions, including in Ukraine.
This was reported by Radio Free Europe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kosovo Ministry of Defense head of strategic communications Colonel Sefer Isufi said FSK has made great strides in all aspects of its development and operational capabilities thanks to the "indispensable support" from the United States.
“Because our alliance with the United States is natural and very strong, we are fully committed to supporting the United States and its forces in any mission they believe they can engage with our professional military components,” Isufi said.
At the same time, the “Kosovo Presidential Administration” radio station stated that “Kosovo supports Ukraine, supports its sovereignty and territorial integrity after Russian aggression in 2014 and the mobilization of Russian armed forces near its border.”
“Russia’s recent military maneuvers pose a threat not only to Ukraine, but to the entire European continent. Any violation of Ukraine's sovereignty is a direct attack on an independent state, an attack on democracy on our continent and a continuation of Russia's aggressive campaign. We are not alone in supporting Ukraine, we are together with our allies the United States and NATO, as well as with countries that want to promote democratic values on our continent and throughout the world,” said the “Kosovo Presidential Administration.”
