In Kosovo, the police had to rescue the chairman of the Hague court from Albanians
The Chairman of the Special Court in The Hague for Crimes in Kosovo, Ekaterina Trendafilova, arrived in Pristina.
The Sirius Hotel, where the guest was staying, was surrounded by a crowd that began throwing smoke bombs and noise grenades into the building, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
To ensure Trendafilova’s safety, a huge number of militants from the so-called “Kosovo police” were herded into the center of Pristina. Due to the extremely aggressive behavior of the crowd, which came out with posters in support of the war criminals of the Kosovo Liberation Army and against the creation of the Commonwealth of Serbian Municipalities, the “police” had to confront the rioters.
As a result, at least five people were arrested. The arrests began after smoke bombs and stun grenades were thrown into the hotel building.
Let us recall that, starting in 2020, a trial has been going on in The Hague against the top of the Albanian separatist Kosovo Liberation Army, which is accused of committing war crimes against the civilian population of the region in 1998-1999.
