Two attacks in Ukrainian on ethnic grounds have occurred in Poland in recent days.

In Nowa Huta, one of the districts of Krakow, three Poles attacked a 17-year-old Ukrainian, who was playing basketball with his Polish friend on the school playground, and severely beat him with sticks with nails driven into them. In this case, the Ukrainian origin of the young man was also the reason for the attack. The suspects were detained by the police. Now they face up to 8 years in prison. It is reported that the suspects were taken into custody for three months.
Another incident occurred in Częstochowa, where three young men attacked a group of three Ukrainians, then beat the Ukrainians and used swear words.
Investigators found that the reason for the attack was the nationality of Ukrainian citizens. The suspects are between 22 and 28 years old and are already known to law enforcement due to their criminal history. All of them were charged with beating and humiliation on ethnic grounds, and were also arrested for 3 months.
