The day before, armed pro-Russian activists kidnapped four employees of the Kramatorsk city department, the head of the criminal investigation department Vitaly Benko, the head of the department for combating drug trafficking Oleg Zaitsev, as well as two operational workers Andrey Redko and Vladimir Mishchenko.
“They were transported to the SBU of Slavyansk, where there are supposedly 30 to 50 hostages,” said the Main Department of Internal Affairs in the Donetsk region.
“At the moment it has become known that the operatives have been released. Negotiations on the release of other law enforcement officers are ongoing,” the headquarters reported.
Let us remind you that yesterday the rioters presented their head of the Kramatorsk city department. He became 29-year-old Denis Besproskurny, who himself read out the order of his appointment to the position, signed by Igor Girkin.
