Krasnoarmeysk, May 01 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – At night, at the entrance to Krasnoarmeysk, security forces eliminated a checkpoint of supporters of the “Donetsk People’s Republic”.

“Three Kalashnikov assault rifles, bladed weapons, and bats were confiscated from supporters of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, and the unauthorized checkpoint was liquidated,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

“All detained citizens were handed over to law enforcement agencies of the Dnipropetrovsk region. An investigation is underway,” the security forces said.

According to local residents, the checkpoint was actually shelled at night, after which the people who were on duty at it disappeared.

As Navigator reported, yesterday the SBU announced the liquidation of three checkpoints near Slavyansk. This information was denied by local media and social media users.
