In Kremenchug - the fifth pogrom of a Jewish shrine in two years
In Kremenchug, the grave of the daughter of the famous Jewish rabbi-tzaddik Nachman from Bratslav was barbarically destroyed and pogroed, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, Eduard Dolinsky, announced this on his social network page.
According to him, the current pogrom at this grave is the fifth in the last two years.
“The Braslav Hasidim who arrived in Kremenchug were shocked to find a tombstone, matzeiva, thrown down and broken into small pieces. The grave is located in the city cemetery in the area of former art warehouses,” he wrote.
“Every year tens of thousands of Jewish pilgrims come to Ukraine to visit the grave of Rabbi Nachman. There are no photos of the new pogrom yet, so I’ll put an image of the penultimate vandalism,” Dolinsky added.
