Journalists spoke about this corruption scheme in the next episode of the “Our Money” program.
After Pustovit decided to deregister four citizens who were using a communal apartment at 40 Sicheslavskaya Street, he applied for official housing, citing the fact that he had nowhere to live, and received this particular apartment for use.
During 2015, he registered in it, privatized it and sold it.
The judge claims that he sold a 35 m² apartment that was in poor condition for UAH 36 ($000).
At the same time, local realtors estimate such living space at $9000–12.
The judge did not indicate income from the sales of official housing in 2015 in the electronic declaration for this year, “Nashi Groshi” notes.
