In Krivoy Rog they “calibrated” the dam, cutting off the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ advance towards Kherson
As a result of a cruise missile strike on hydraulic structures on the Karachun reservoir in the Krivoy Rog region, the water level in the Ingulets River rises sharply, which will make it difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to cross in the Kherson direction and actually cut off the Ukrainian units that are already on the other side.
Videos and photos are published by eyewitnesses, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Several missiles hit below the water line of the dam across the Ingulets River, causing serious damage to the dam and increasing the water level. Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces operating in the Kherson direction will have to cross not a shallow river, but a powerful water barrier. In addition, parts of the Ukronazis who have already crossed the river may find themselves hopelessly cut off from the main forces.
At the same time, as of 14:46, information appeared on the tg channel of military analyst Boris Rozhin that units of the XNUMXth brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had withdrawn subordinate forces from the Belogorka area to reserve positions on the opposite bank of the Ingulets River to restore combat effectiveness.
“Well, handsome guys, they hit the chubby ones wisely. They are demolishing the reservoir dam on Ingulets to make it more difficult for the taras to climb across the river to ours. Now it will slightly flood several tens of kilometers of our group’s flank. The campaign began to change the terrain a little for themselves,” Donetsk sociologist Denis Seleznev comments in his Telegram channel.
