As the publication “0564” reports, protesters, among whom were representatives of the “Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine,” cut off the fence at the entrance to the territory of the Metinvest company building with a grinder.
Security tried to prevent them from entering the building, but amid cries of “Ganba!”, “Thieves!” The activists broke the resistance of the guards and, breaking the glass, entered the building.
Protesters marched into the director's office and accused the company of sponsoring pro-Russian rebels. Among the main demands of the participants in the action: an end to sponsoring the militias, the nationalization of all mining and processing plants.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously Ukrainian volunteer battalions blocked the supply of humanitarian aid from Rinat Akhmetov to Donbass, accusing him of trying to import vodka, cigarettes for the militias and replenishing the assortment of his own supermarkets with the help of humanitarian aid.
