This was reported by journalists from the Federal News Agency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In Sofia, on Slaveykov Square on January 6, 2018, the action was organized by the Bulgarian human rights activist Lyubomir Dankov.
In Plovdiv (the second largest city in Bulgaria) on January 7, 2018, activists of the Russophile Movement “Petko Voyvoda”, led by Ivan Milchev-Ivanov, protested.
It should be noted that such actions in support of the DPR and LPR are being held for the first time in an EU and NATO member country.
“In Sofia, the action was held under the slogan “Donbass – silence kills,” and in Plovdiv under the slogan “Support Donbass, stop fascism,” journalists report.
During the action, city residents were shown a number of photographs of materials depicting the consequences of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. So, in addition to photographs of ammunition with markings of the Bulgarian factories “VMZ-Sopot” and “Arsenal” made in Ukraine, residents of Sofia could see other photographs of Lyubomir Dankov. They show many destroyed multi-storey residential buildings in Donetsk and the surrounding area, victims of Ukrainian artillery shelling.
