A cache of weapons and ammunition was found in Crimea
Russian border guards discovered a cache of ammunition in Crimea that dates back to the 1990s.
This was reported by the FSB press service for Crimea and Sevastopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The cache was discovered during an inspection of the territory of the landscape and recreational park “Fox Bay - Echki-Dag” near Feodosia.
Several hundred rounds of ammunition and firearm parts were found in it.
“Among the items identified are parts of firearms that were heavily corroded, about four hundred rounds of various calibers, an F-1 fragmentation grenade and a container containing gunpowder. According to the preliminary version, the discovered cache dates back to the 90s of the last century. All items found were transferred to law enforcement agencies for further verification,” the statement said.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that Crimean police discovered a cache of weapons and ammunition in the gorge of Mount Ai-Petri in the Bakhchisarai region.
