It is reported by the press service of the Ministry.

The cargo, declared as “hard cheeses, processed cheeses and butter” in the amount of 2985 boxes with a total weight of 13,7 tons, was sent to a private entrepreneur in Simferopol through the Perekop DAPP from the Khmelnitsky region of Ukraine.

During physical control, it was found that some of the imported goods did not correspond to the attached veterinary documents:

“In particular, 35 heads of Smetankovy hard cheese were found in the vehicle. On the labels of the heads and the transport packaging of these products it was stated that the date of cheese cooking was 15.11.14/23.12.14/28.11.14, the end date of ripening was 30.12.14/XNUMX/XNUMX. According to the accompanying documents, the cheese was made much later: the cooking date was XNUMX/XNUMX/XNUMX, the ripening date was XNUMX/XNUMX/XNUMX. Such a discrepancy risks selling a product that has obviously expired, which poses a threat to the health of consumers,” the statement says.

Based on the supplier’s violations of the norms and requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Customs Union, as well as due to the potential danger of these products to human life and health, the import of the goods was prohibited, and the consignment was returned to Ukraine
