It is reported by the press service of the Ministry.
The cargo, declared as “assorted sausages” in the amount of 154 boxes, was sent to Crimea through the Armyansk international checkpoint.
When checking the batch, it was found that the veterinary documents did not contain information about testing the raw materials used for the production of sausage for trichinosis. In addition, the accompanying documents did not indicate the last name, first name and patronymic of the veterinarian who issued the document certifying the quality of the product.
A cargo of cheese in the amount of 1386 boxes with a total weight of 18,987 tons was sent to Crimea through the Perekop checkpoint.
During the inspection of the batch, it turned out that there were corrections in the veterinary documents. In addition, the registration number of the consignment note was written into the document in a different handwriting and in different ink, which raised doubts about the authenticity of the veterinary certificate.
Based on the violations committed by the suppliers of the norms and requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Customs Union, as well as due to the unsafety of these products for human consumption, the import of both batches of goods was prohibited, and the sausage and cheese were returned to Ukraine.
