It is reported by the press service of the Ministry.
The cargo, declared as “assorted sausages” with a total weight of 19,8 tons, was sent to Crimea through the Dzhankoy international checkpoint. The products of one of the Kharkov enterprises were intended for a Simferopol entrepreneur.
When carrying out laboratory control of a batch of sausage products, it was found that in the studied samples of products from this manufacturer, the number of mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms was higher than the maximum standards permissible in the territory of the Customs Union. A large number of microorganisms indicates violations of sanitary rules and technological manufacturing conditions, as well as the timing and temperature conditions of storage, transportation and sale of food products, and can cause food poisoning in the consumer with signs of diarrhea and gastroenteritis.
Based on gross violations of the norms and requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Customs Union committed by the supplier and customer, as well as due to the high danger of these products for human life and health, the import of the consignment of goods was prohibited, and the load of sausage products was returned to Ukraine.
