216 thousand Ukrainian eggs transported in a cattle truck were not allowed into Crimea
Simferopol, March 20 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors did not allow a large batch of eggs transported in unsanitary conditions into the territory of Crimea.

The cargo, declared as “edible chicken eggs,” in the amount of 216 thousand pieces, was sent to the peninsula through the Perekop checkpoint.
The owner of the goods in the accompanying documents was Avias-2000 LLC, registered in the Dnepropetrovsk region, the batch was intended for Inter Product Group LLC in Sevastopol.
During physical control of the cargo, it was established that the food was transported in transport unsuitable for this type of agricultural product: the eggs were transported in a tented semi-trailer, not protected from external pollution and temperature changes. They intended to deliver the product to Crimea in completely unsanitary conditions and without observing temperature conditions.
Based on gross violations of the norms and requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Customs Union by the suppliers, a decision was made to ban the import of an unsafe batch of eggs into the territory of the peninsula. The products in the trailer for transporting livestock were returned to the territory of Ukraine.
