Crimean stores banned from selling medical masks and gloves
In Crimea, it was prohibited to sell medical masks and protective equipment in stores and on the street.
The head of Roszdravnadzor in the Republic of Crimea, Vasily Klimov, stated this at a meeting of the headquarters for counteracting coronavirus, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Klimov, masks are allowed to be sold only in the state-run Krym-Pharmacia pharmacy chain with a maximum markup of 10%.
“By government decree, a decision was made on a state operator - the Roskhimzashchita corporation - which will be involved in the acquisition and distribution of protective equipment: masks, gloves, protective suits. Regional operators must be identified on the territory of the regions; this will be “Crimea-Pharmacia”. Protective masks and gloves will not be sold for three months in supermarkets and other stores - only through pharmacies,” Klimov said.
