This was announced by the head of the Nikolaev rural settlement Alexey Ivanov, reports IA "Crimea Media".
According to the official, in response to an official letter from the authorities of the rural settlement addressed to the Crimean governor Sergei Aksenov, it is indicated that the authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan consider it expedient to locate a gambling zone in Nikolaevka, and that this circumstance will be taken into account in the work on the creation of this facility.
“If we achieve the organization of a gambling zone on the territory of Nikolaevka or at least nearby, this will be an investment of federal and Crimean money in infrastructure. There will be an explosive economic effect,” Ivanov noted.
According to him, in Nikolaevka there is a suitable plot of land and a good transport interchange.
“We have land that is located 300-400 meters from the water’s edge, 40 kilometers from two airports - Belbek and Simferopol, 40 kilometers from the Simferopol railway station. Nikolaevka is an ideal place for a gambling zone,” says Alexey Ivanov.
Let us recall that in July 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the creation of gambling zones in Crimea and Kuban. Among the options for locating a gambling zone on the peninsula, Greater Yalta, Koktebel and Razdolnensky district were considered.
In February, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Levandovsky, said that due to sanctions, the creation of a gambling zone in Crimea was being delayed.
