“The Kerch City Court sentenced 55-year-old local resident V.K. Kukharenko, accused of committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 282 (Inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity), Part 1. Article 222 (Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, their main parts, ammunition), Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Through the capabilities of the Internet radio station Kukharenko V.K. publicly made statements that, according to the results of the examination, contain “linguistic and psychological signs of humiliation of a group of persons distinguished on the basis of nationality.” These materials have become available to the public for an unlimited number of Internet users.
In addition, the involvement of V.K. Kukharenko has been proven. for storage of explosives (TNT) and ammunition (cartridges) at the place of residence.
Kukharenko V.K. fully admitted his guilt and repented of his actions. He was sentenced to 2,5 years of suspended imprisonment and a fine of 50 thousand rubles.
