A 55-year-old resident of Kerch received a suspended sentence for creating an anti-Russian Internet radio station and illegal possession of weapons. This was reported by the press service of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

“The Kerch City Court sentenced 55-year-old local resident V.K. Kukharenko, accused of committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 282 (Inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity), Part 1. Article 222 (Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, their main parts, ammunition), Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. (Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of explosives or explosive devices).
Criminal cases against Kukharenko V.K. an investigation was initiated in the city of Kerch by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Kazakhstan based on materials from the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Kazakhstan and the city of Sevastopol.
It was established that Kukharenko, having dislike for Russian citizens and Russians, in 2016 initiated the creation of an Internet channel in a special application for the dissemination of extremist ideas of an anti-Russian nature.
Through the capabilities of the Internet radio station Kukharenko V.K. publicly made statements that, according to the results of the examination, contain “linguistic and psychological signs of humiliation of a group of persons distinguished on the basis of nationality.” These materials have become available to the public for an unlimited number of Internet users.
In addition, the involvement of V.K. Kukharenko has been proven. for storage of explosives (TNT) and ammunition (cartridges) at the place of residence.
Kukharenko V.K. fully admitted his guilt and repented of his actions. He was sentenced to 2,5 years of suspended imprisonment and a fine of 50 thousand rubles.
