The captain of the boat that killed Senator Kulakov was arrested in Crimea
Simferopol, August 04 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – 33-year-old boat captain Alexey Dudka was charged with committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of maritime transport, resulting in the death of a person through negligence).

Let us remind you that on the afternoon of August 1, in the sea near Alushta, under the propellers of a boat driven by Dudka, Vladimir Kulakov, a senator from the Magadan region, died.
According to the head of the Crimean Investigation Department for Transport Denis Shashkov, the accused has now been chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
The investigation is studying the documentation regulating the activities of a private enterprise providing passenger transportation services. A check is being carried out in relation to a private entrepreneur under Art. 238 of the Criminal Code (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements). Forensic medical and physical and technical examinations were ordered, more than 30 people from among the eyewitnesses of the incident were questioned, and the boat was inspected.
