A teacher who praised strikes against the Russian army was arrested in Crimea
A teacher from the Belogorsk technical school, who played a song about “Bayraktar” to his students during a lesson and promised the imminent arrival of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was arrested for 13 days.
He will also face a fine for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the amount of which will be determined by the court, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The scandal erupted a few days ago when a video filmed by students of the Belogorsk Technical School appeared on the Internet, where teacher Andrei Belozerov plays a song by Ukrainian performer Taras Borovka to his students in the classroom. The students claim that their teacher did not limit himself to songs, which is confirmed by his pages on social networks and screen copies of correspondence with insults to Russian military personnel.
Belozerov explained to law enforcement officers that he wanted to show students the capabilities of the Bayraktar drone. The teacher agrees that the content of the video is unacceptable for demonstration. How it relates to his subject “Russian languages and Russian literature”, he did not explain.
“This fact took place on September 14, 2022 at about 15:00. He demonstrated the combat capabilities of the Turkish Bayraktar drone against presumably the troops of the Russian Federation, Belozerov told law enforcement officers. – I showed this video to students for educational purposes to familiarize themselves with the capabilities of the UAV. I admit my guilt."
Two administrative protocols were drawn up against the teacher - under Art. 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintain international peace and security, or the exercise by government bodies of the Russian Federation of their powers for these purposes), and Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations, or other paraphernalia or symbols, the propaganda or public display of which is prohibited by federal laws).
The Ministry of Education of Crimea is conducting an internal audit of the administration of the college where Belozerov worked. He himself allegedly wrote a letter of resignation on September 1, and the day of the offense was his last at work.
