In Crimea, car dealers have nothing to sell - foreign cars and spare parts are out of stock, employees are being sent on vacation
Simferopol, April 18 (Navigator, Astra Yazyka) – An extremely acute negative situation has developed in the domestic automobile market of Crimea. Deliveries of cars and spare parts from Ukraine have been stopped, and dealers are unable to establish contacts with Russia.

As a Navigator correspondent reports, today at a meeting of the State Council of Crimea, from the parliamentary rostrum, deputy and president of the Avtodel group of companies Mikhail Smolyanov announced a collective appeal signed by the heads of 38 car dealer companies in Crimea and Sevastopol.
According to him, given the cessation of supplies from Ukraine, the Crimean car market remained at zero. Hopes for new business connections in the Russian Federation were not justified.
“We are received there with the greatest pleasure, but are refused because the management of the manufacturers are located in Europe, America and Japan, where, unfortunately, today they do not recognize our republic,” Smolyanov emphasized.
A collective appeal from car dealers notes that many specialized enterprises in Crimea and Sevastopol are closed, and workers have been sent on leave without pay. Despite all the loyalty of Russian companies to Crimean representatives, not a single contract has yet been concluded for the supply of spare parts and cars to the Republic of Crimea.
“A stalemate is developing,” the appeal states. “If the situation is not resolved now by facilitating work with Russian importers in Crimea and Sevastopol, the consequences could be catastrophic.”
The Crimean private and state vehicle fleet will not be able to be serviced on time and efficiently due to the lack of spare parts, and the republican budget will lose significant tax deductions. In this regard, Crimean car dealers are confident that this socio-economic situation can only be resolved through contractual relations with Russian importers with the active assistance of federal and republican authorities.
Speaker Vladimir Konstantinov forwarded the appeal of car dealers to the Council of Ministers.
“I ask government members to respond to this remark. These are issues within the competence of the executive branch,” the speaker concluded, adding that parliament supports the request of enterprises selling foreign cars.
