Most visitors do not stay on the peninsula and, after obtaining migration cards, travel further to the mainland to visit relatives and friends. No more than 1 thousand people in a month and a half are distributed among regions depending on the availability of housing and employment. People do not want to stay to live and work in Crimea, despite the fact that the authorities of the republic intended to fill vacancies in construction, agriculture and the resort industry with refugees.

There are problems with the issuance of 10 thousand rubles for each person arriving from the territory of Ukraine. To do this, you need to submit an application, open a bank account and wait until the answer and money arrive from Rostov. Also, only if you have an account in Crimea, hryvnias can be exchanged for rubles.

14 out of 27 planned points have been deployed for temporary stay. Now there are almost 800 people in them, a third of them are children. Most are waiting for paperwork to be processed in Dzhankoy - 385 people are stationed there. The school designated to shelter refugees was initially designed for 100 people.

About 10 thousand people arrived in Sevastopol from the special operation zone. Almost 400 people were placed in boarding houses, but the vast majority stayed with relatives and friends. According to the Commissioner for Human Rights in Sevastopol, Pavel Butsay, refugees cannot find employment - they must apply for a patent and registration in Sevastopol.

“The procedure for applying for a job is quite complicated. Our entrepreneurs, of course, are afraid of penalties, which amount to a maximum of about 800 thousand rubles. Today or tomorrow I plan to receive a regulatory document that will allow entrepreneurs to hire, and which will clearly show how to do this,” Butsay noted.
