Simferopol, May 30 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – By arresting Ukrainian activists, the Russian government in Crimea is trying to divert the attention of ordinary people from the difficult economic situation on the peninsula.

Simferopol political scientist Vladimir Egorov told Navigator about this, commenting on the FSB’s detention of the Crimean sabotage group of the Right Sector.

“This is a witch hunt. Unfortunately, there will be even more such arrests. They are not related to the preparation of terrorist acts, but are related to the fact that lately everything has been calm in Crimea and there is no one to scare. In this regard, when the Crimean authorities were left alone with their problems, through demonization, through the “Right Sector” they are trying to show that the authorities are doing something, but today there are no economic successes, because there is a conditional right sector with which we are fighting,” believes Vladimir Egorov.
