This was reported by the Center for Investigative Journalism with reference to Shaimardanov’s mother Larisa.
According to the woman, on Friday Zinedinov met with Shaimardanov’s wife, but never returned home.
“Seran told her (his wife - “Navigator”) that Timur was probably with the Crimean self-defense. They parted ways, but he never made it home. There is no connection with him either. He left a pregnant wife and three children at home,” said Larisa Shaimardanova, suggesting that Timur’s wife was under surveillance.
“All three of them (Shaimardanov, Korzh and Zinedinov - “Navigator”) were active in social activities. We agreed on protecting people at peaceful rallies, near military units, and defended the ATR channel. And now they are all looking for them,” the woman added.
