In Crimea they want to create a zone for swearing rappers
In the Crimean Koktebel, it is proposed to hold rap festivals in which a separate area will be reserved for performers whose work contains obscene language.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta by the general director of the International Information Agency Rossiya Segodnya, television journalist Dmitry Kiselev.
According to him, there are no societies without internal restrictions, but at the same time he says that these restrictions must develop naturally and without government intervention.
“A simple example is the story of rap. At first they tried to somehow limit these performers. Then Putin says: let them swear,” said the general director of MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
He added that he took the initiative to hold a jazz and rap festival in Koktebel.
“And for me, too, the problem is that they will swear. So what to do? If you say that you can’t swear here, then it won’t be rap. Maybe one of the options, we will still consult, is to surround the construction area with red and white tape. Put a microphone there and say: area for swearing. Like a smoking area. If you want, go there, if you don’t want, don’t go. This is part of our culture, a cultural luxury. In my opinion, this is a kind of emergency reserve. These words cannot be devalued. Otherwise we will lose this resource in our own language. There is a concept of “relevance”. That’s all,” Kiselev emphasized.
