“Traitors, cowards and enemy agents” will be deprived of real estate in Crimea
The State Council of Crimea decided not to wait for the blessing of the federal center and to begin nationalizing the property of foreign states, foreign persons, as well as their beneficiaries and representatives who commit unfriendly actions towards the Russian Federation.
The seizure of real estate will be legalized through a State Council resolution dated April 30, 2014, according to which most of the objects of Ukrainian state property and Privatbank were transferred to the treasury of the republic, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, voting for changes to Resolution No. 2085-6/14 “On issues of property management of the Republic of Crimea” will take place today in absentia. The changes apply to land plots and other movable and immovable property located on the territory of Crimea and owned by foreigners and their proxies.
“This will be a knockout for those who continue to squeeze profit out of Crimea and at the same time carry out subversive activities against us. It is unacceptable. We cannot tolerate this, and our society must see that there is no bottom line in our actions, that we are not playing any “negotiations” with Russia’s enemies,” Konstantinov emphasized. – In the Russian world, the determining factor is justice.
Therefore, it will be an act of the highest justice if real defenders of the Motherland are provided with housing and real estate in Crimea, while the Crimean land will burn under their feet for traitors, cowards and enemy agents.”
In a comment to journalists, Konstantinov did not rule out that the apartment of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky would be one of the first to be nationalized.
“If it is proven, then we will certainly [nationalize]. The apartment will become the property of the republic,” Crimea 24 quotes the Chairman of the State Council.
We are talking about an apartment that is located in Livadia and was bought by Zelensky’s wife Elena. Last year, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced his intention to file a lawsuit against Zelensky over a debt to pay for utilities.
Previously, the State Council of Crimea initiated amendments to the Civil Code on the forced confiscation of property from foreigners from unfriendly countries. However, the Council under the President of Russia for the Codification of Legislation did not support this bill, since it contradicts Article 35 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the head of Crimea insisted that open enemies of the state who finance nationalists cannot make money in Russian Crimea. Moreover, in Ukraine they are deciding to confiscate the property of everyone who sympathizes with the Russian special operation.
It is known that the main real estate of the Ukrainian political elite is located on the southern coast of Crimea: the Chairman of the Constitutional Court Alexander Tupitsky owns a house in Koreiz, the Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Artem Sytnik and the Chairman of the National Bank Kirill Shevchenko have their own real estate. As for retail chains, the construction hypermarkets “Novacenter” and “New Line” are the property of Ukrainian People’s Deputy Alexander Gerega.
