This was announced by the head of the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet, Vyacheslav Trukhachev.
The Marines began winding down their forces after completing a two-month field tour at the training ground. Part of the personnel and tracked vehicles are transported to places of permanent deployment by large landing ships, while wheeled vehicles will march to Sevastopol under their own power.
At the training ground, the Marines conducted training on loading and unloading equipment and personnel from large landing craft, live artillery firing, company tactical exercises with live firing, driving combat vehicles, and practiced combat tactics in various conditions.
A howitzer self-propelled artillery division, an air assault battalion, a logistics battalion, a mortar battery, an airborne engineering company, a communications company, as well as a medical unit - a total of about 600 personnel and more than 150 pieces of equipment - were involved in the field exit.
