Trans-Ukrainian agitators began to be fined in Crimea
The first fines for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces were issued in Crimea. A resident of Yalta was brought to administrative responsibility and a fine of 50 thousand rubles, and residents of Simferopol - 35 thousand rubles. These citizens took to the streets with defamatory posters. A resident of Feodosia was fined 30 thousand rubles for distributing defamatory information on social networks.
In Sevastopol, a 39-year-old native of Ivano-Frankivsk was detained for fakes in messengers about the actions of Russian peacekeepers. He explained his action by saying that he acted “in the heat of the moment,” but had already realized he was wrong, and, moreover, thanked the Russian military for the special operation to denazify Ukraine.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea recalls that the article on punishment for “public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintaining international peace and security” was introduced into the Code of Administrative Offenses on March 4. It provides for punishment in the form of a fine and 100 thousand rubles.
