Head of Crimean Statistics Olga Baldina stated this at a press conference in Simferopol.
According to Baldina, these are the villages of Gorka and Rozovoye in the Bakhchisarai district, Volodino and Transrachnoye in the Dzhankoy district, Vodnoye in the Kirovsky district, Kholmovoe in the Krasnogvardeisky district and some villages in the Pervomaisky, Saki and Sovetsky districts.
“This is due to employment problems in these localities,” Baldina explained the situation.
In addition, she noted that on the territory of the peninsula, another 77 villages with a population of less than 50 people and 89 with a population of up to 100 people are on the verge of extinction.
