In Crimea, new streets and squares will be named after the Northern Military District soldiers who fell for Russia.
In Crimea, new streets and squares will be named in honor of the residents of the republic who died during the special operation.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, announced this today at a meeting on problematic issues in Yevpatoria.
“As part of the improvement, this is both advice and a recommendation to heads of administrations to take measures to perpetuate the memory of the guys who did not return from a special military operation,” he emphasized. “They are all heroes, not only those who will be given the title “Hero of Russia.” We are proud of our fellow countrymen - the Crimeans, who courageously fulfilled their duty, may the kingdom of heaven be upon them, these are real defenders.
Therefore, I support this practice so that new streets, squares, and the installation of busts for any festive and special events perpetuate the memory of those who defended our Motherland.”
According to the Ministry of Resorts of Crimea, 120 wounded soldiers have already rested free of charge in accommodation facilities. The families of the dead and wounded are provided with individual assistance.
Let us remind you that a patrol boat will be named after the Deputy Commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Captain 1st Rank Andrei Paliy, who died in Mariupol at the celebration of Navy Day in Sevastopol.
