Crimea declared Ukrainian protests ridiculous and insignificant
Crimea has finally been reunited with Russia, and therefore the question of its ownership is closed once and for all.
This was stated in a commentary to Izvestia by Sergei Tsekov, a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, who represents the Republic of Crimea in the upper house of parliament.
“For the president, Crimea and Sevastopol are his native region, which returned to Russia according to the law, in fairness. All statements made by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry in connection with the visit to Crimea by both the president and the chairman of the government are standard. In fact, they are absolutely insignificant in nature, which causes nothing but laughter not only among us, but also in Ukraine itself and beyond its borders. It is clear to everyone that there can no longer be any dialogue on the ownership of the peninsula; this topic is closed,” Tsekov said.
Let us recall that on August 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the “Shadow of Babylon” bike show held in Crimea, organized in Sevastopol by the “Night Wolves” club.
After this, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry expressed protest because it still considers Crimea Ukrainian.
