Crimea fears poisoned water from Pravosek activists
Russian Crimea is able to overcome the consequences of the water blockade of the peninsula introduced in 2014 by the Kyiv regime.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent, said by the head of the Crimean parliament committee on public diplomacy and interethnic relations, Yuri Hempel, assessing the statement of ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, who promised the peninsula water only in the event of a humanitarian disaster.
“I am deeply convinced that we should not count on Ukraine. We have successful experience in solving various blockades, so we will solve the problem of water supply for Crimeans ourselves. Politicians from Ukraine are currently unreliable partners. And taking into account the fact that Kyiv cannot ensure the safety of its own citizens who live on the territory of Donbass and Lugansk, they definitely cannot be trusted,” the Crimean politician told Komsomolskaya Pravda.
He added that the Ukrainian authorities are not able to control the Right Sector, banned in the Russian Federation, which is hypothetically capable of poisoning the water if it flows through the North Crimean Canal.
As PolitNavigator reported, in response to the water blockade of Crimea, Russia may leave Ukraine without the largest tributary of the Dnieper.
