In Crimea, they are practicing a landing on a coast reminiscent of Mariupol
Russian paratroopers, together with the Black Sea Fleet, landed on the unequipped coast of Crimea at the Opuk training ground and defended it. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The events took place during the command post exercises of the Airborne Forces.

According to the commander of the Novorossiysk Airborne Assault Division, Roman Breus, as part of the operation, engineering reconnaissance groups were first delivered to the shore, which cleared mines from the coast and ensured a safe landing.
“After the area was cleared of mines and other explosive objects by two large landing ships of the Black Sea Fleet, the main forces of the amphibious assault were delivered to it - a battalion tactical group of about 300 people.
The head of the Crimean NTV bureau Oleg Kryuchkov notes an interesting feature of the exercises. “On one side there is the sea, on the other there is the steppe... a typical theater of military operations, characteristic of parts of the Black and Azov Seas. Near what city did I see such a landscape...? Ma... Mario... No, I don’t remember,” the TV journalist wrote on his blog.
