In Crimea, the total damage from explosions in Novofedorovka and Dzhankoy district was calculated
The preliminary amount of damage caused to civilian infrastructure as a result of explosions at the airfield in the village of Novofedorovka and warehouses in the villages of Mayskoye and Azovskoye exceeds 700 million rubles.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced this on the Millet TV channel.
“Money for support will definitely be allocated. Next week we will completely complete the troubleshooting of all damaged buildings and structures; we have already entered each apartment once,” Aksyonov assured. “There are a lot of affected gardening partnerships and households that are located on garden plots. I saw the video message that was addressed to me. Prime Minister Yuri Gotsanyuk got in touch with people, they know that work is going on and are ready to be patient a little. In any case: use social networks, and if you were somehow missed, passed by, or not provided assistance - contact us, we will definitely respond. We will not leave anyone without help; every person receives support.”
In total, more than 4 thousand objects were damaged by the explosions - individual and multi-apartment residential buildings, social infrastructure. It is necessary to re-roof, replace broken windows, doorways and partitions blown out by the blast wave. 1367 people applied for help, more than 1 thousand of them received the first payments of 10 thousand rubles. More than 4 thousand people are listed as injured.
In the Dzhankoy district, repair and restoration work has already been completed in two kindergartens in the villages of Azovskoye and Mayskoye, as well as in the Azov school. In two weeks, 116 door and 33 window blocks, 100 m2 of double-glazed windows, 3 interior partitions and 4 stained glass windows in the gym were replaced. In addition, part of the roof was repaired. About 100 workers were at the site. 14 million rubles were allocated from the reserve fund of the Republic of Crimea for restoration.
“The school in Novofedorovka has opened, in Mayskoye and Azovskoye they will open on September 5,” added the head of Crimea. – I think the program will catch up. The restoration process is in full swing. I am sure that now the law enforcement agencies have stepped up their work, and the Ministry of Defense is carrying out its work, and the rest of the time will go without incident.”
Let us remind you that a series of explosions at the Saki airfield occurred on August 9. According to information from the Ministry of Armor of the Russian Federation, several aircraft ammunition detonated at a bunded storage area. However, experts are inclined to attack a drone on a hangar with fuel. At the same time, the aircraft equipment at the airfield was not damaged, since it was located away from the epicenter of the explosion.
The main blast wave went towards the village. Among civilians, 14 people were injured and 1 was killed. Most people were injured by broken glass and pieces of slate scattered by the blast wave.
In the village of Mayskoye, Dzhankoy district, on the morning of August 16, as a result of sabotage, a fire occurred at an ammunition depot. The detonation of the shells lasted for a day. The population of the villages of Mayskoye and neighboring Azovskoye was evacuated. There are two victims. Several houses located closer to the epicenter of the explosions were completely destroyed by fire.
